Welcome to the Tualatin Valley District of the Oregon Music Teachers Association!

The Tualatin Valley District is a strong and vibrant group of teachers, passionate about music and music education.  We are open to music educators in the beautiful Tualatin Valley and our membership includes teachers of piano, violin, cello, brass, woodwinds, voice, organ, theory and composition plus other music educators from area public and private schools and colleges.

Our Mission

Our mission is to create a forum for music and music education, to support our teachers and their students, and to have a strong music outreach into the community.

New Location

This year TV District will meet in a NEW LOCATION: Tigard United Methodist Church, 9845 SW Walnut Place, Tigard OR, 97223.  We meet the second Friday of the month at 9:30 a.m. for our business meeting, and our playing class meets in the sanctuary the last Friday of the month, using the church’s lovely Steinway piano and a very fine Rodgers three-manual organ as well.  (Please see our calendar page for exceptions.)  Our year runs from September through May.
